Hey what's up?! I'm Jason Hooey, also known as Bad Alphabet. Thanks for your interest. I'm a creator, husband, father, mentor and voice. Born and raised here in Texas, but my intention is to impact the world one person at a time.

The name "Bad Alphabet" came from educating my community about crypto assets — the ABCs of crypto and the blockchain. I explain the fundamentals in a relatable way, using slang and colloquialisms instead of formal terms, hence the "Bad" in Bad Alphabet. Plus, bad is cool if you ask MJ. As a creative, I make visual art and music, and tell stories on both canvases. Career-wise my skillset and experience is in project management and branding, so I also offer freelance work for businesses and personal brands. My art is my heart — my best way to express myself without forcing my message or my life on the audience. I have an NFT art collection called Percy's POV, currently up for purchase on the blockchain.

Though I've been involved in community service for most of my life, at this stage education and mentorship is at the forefront of what I push. The Because I Can Foundation is a major agenda for me. Established in 2021, Because I Can has been an affirmation I push toward youth and adults to reach their full potential.
